I am a sport journalist specialising in media content, graphic design and writing. As a recent University of Central Lancashire graduate, I have experience in a variety of sports and platforms to share news and athlete features. On here, you will see some of my work, both in traditional media and engaging short-form video.

After experience posting for Euxton Villa, I began managing content for Freckleton. I managed First Team posts on Instagram, X and Facebook.
Posts included live tweets, matchday scores, fixtures and midweek engagement such as matchday galleries and highlight reels.
After my first 6 months, profile visits went up on X (70%), Instagram (95%) and Facebook (415%). The following and engagement grew during my time here, with some players stating a big reason they joined the club was due to the social media output we delivered which set us apart from the rest of the league.

England Amputee Football Association
(EAFA)
Primarily connected to the Women’s National Team, I help cover EAFA activity from all teams and clubs during training camps, competitive games and remotely for over 26k followers across platforms.
Posts include live Instagram stories during camps, photos during camps and midweek, highlight reels, trendy videos, promoting sponsorships and external media appearances and sharing website articles.
The past 30 days has seen a 18% increase in Instagram engagement, with recent reels gaining more reach than average on the account. In the same time, Facebook has seen increased numbers in every department, including almost 30k accounts engaging.

IMVGES
Media brand sharing the best sports photos
I set up and run IMVGES accounts on both Instagram and Tumblr as a collective brand since 2018, sharing posts on a semi-daily basis through football and wrestling focused profiles.
Operating on two different platforms have helped me understand how to alter content so as to reach the most people as possible.
The Tumblr accounts have generated 6k (football) and 1.1k (wrestling). Imvges.wrestling on Instagram has seen a whopping 137% rise in reach and 35% rise in engagement in 30 days while Imvges.football has a 60% increase in follower engagement.

Tv package
Pro City Wrestling hosted their 13th Anniversary show. It became the city’s first event in the reopened nightclub space Venue 53.
I spoke to wrestlers Drill, Joe Blazr and Kane Korso about what the promotion means to them and how perfect the revamped building is for them to perform in.
This is one of many video packages I have filmed and produced in the style of a television news package using professional camera equipment and Adobe Premier Pro.
Digital video
Non-League football club Euxton Villa are playing in the highest division in their history and are blowing expectations out of the water.
Player Manager Matt Atherton commented on the success on and off the pitch.
This is another form of video I have produced many times, intended for digital platforms like Facebook and X, or as a video to accompany an article. This was filmed with professional cameras and edited on Adobe Premier Pro..

TikToks
TikTok is a platform I have posted on for a few years to share sports events I have been to and promote articles and other stories I have worked on.
During my three week magazine with Game On, I independently ran the TikTok account, where I posted videos like the one on the far left here, slideshows of pictures for book/documentary reviews and viral trends both in the sport corner and the wider app as a whole.
My efforts there got the account an average of 1.4k views on each video.
Other roles
BBC North west tonight
I spent a week with the North West Tonight team. Hear I edited a montage on the Manchester Marathon for the end of the show. Also I helped sort cue scripts and worked with the gallery team
Presenting
In association with the Lancashire FA, I hosted a Match of the Day show covering Southport FC vs Atherton Collieries, interviewing players and pundits. I also have TV gallery experience in live reporting, vision mixing, graphics and sound.
Podcasting
I appeared on multiple episodes of the weekly podcast SportsMad where I discussed sports like walking football and Ice Hockey. I also took part in the Que Sera Qatar podcast during the 2022 World Cup, where the group interviewed EFL manager Neil Critchley and talked about issues surrounding the tournament.
Match reporting
While at the University of Central Lancashire, I completed several match reports - on the whistle, considered and follow-up versions - on men’s and women’s football.
